Ingredients:- 1) Rajma ( red kidney beans) 1 cup ( soaked, pressure cooked)
2) Rice ( basmati) according to individual choice ( approx. for 4 persons)
3) green beans chopped ( about 200gm)
4) one onion ( large , sliced)
5) Capsicum (thinly sliced)
6) sugar ( 1 tsp.)
7) salt, pepper, according to taste
8) garam masala (one pinch)
9) oil for cooking
10) cumin seeds
11) coriander leaves for garnish
How to prepare :- 1) soak Red kidney beans, over night then pressure cook them till they are cooked.
2) cook the rice & drain the rice water, keep them aside,
3) take a thick bottom pan set in on the gas oven & add oil in it let it heat up, now add cumin seeds & cinamon sticks (2-3) let the seeds crackle
4) now add onions let it fry for a minute when its bit translucent add a teaspoon of sugar
5) add rest of vegetable in that & fry for ( approx. 2-3 mins)
6) add red kidney beans to it fry for another 2-3 mins add salt to it.
7) add rice & mix it properly for before taking it off the gas add garam masala
8) garnish it with freash coriander leaves , serve hot, with curry
